' There was a meeting of tho Town Board last evening, and before starting the Chairman (Mr W. Cundy) said that ns Mr Searl had made such grave charges.against him, and had taken •'■. protection 'of tlio-' C6urt; ho would refuse to act on the Board with him.. As Mr, Searl declined to. vacate his ■ seat, tlio Chairman retired, and Mr G. Reynolds followed suit. Mr A. Donald was voted to the chair, and the business of the Board was gone through) as well ns that of the Domain anil Cemetery Boards, which,bodies have not held a meeting for it long time. The Clerk of the Town Board sent in his resignation, which wasaccepted,Mr W, Bock was appointed Secretary pro km.. ' .' The .question of who should open the Town Hall cropped up at tlio Board meeting last ovening, arid it was decided to leavo it to the Ball Management Cphtmitteo. .; . j
