Tho ordinary meeting of tho Mastodon Road Board took place on Saturday,there being present Messrs Camoron (Chairman), J Stuckey, Harris, and MoKenzio.' Tho minutes, of the proviousmeoting wero road and confirmed.: It was resolved to instruct tho Clerk to make enquiries as to the position of .this'reserve. It was decided on the motion of Mr Stuckoy,' that Mr Minogue be allowed throe montlis in which to romovo his woolshed offNorthcroft's Road Reserve, ; Tho Commissioner of Crown Lands wroto enclosing schedule of thirds accrued to 30th April, 1894, Decided that the Clerk and the Engineer bo empoworedio fill in tho forms sont with tho schedulo. ; On tho motion of tho Chairman it was decided that the Clerk look into tho matter, and, if. necessary write to tho Commissioner of Crown Lands and onquive why the full amount of tho thirds to which tho Board is ontitled on the purchase of sections 44, 43 and 40, 84, Block 111, Kopuaranga, is not included inthosokedule. The report of the Financo Committteorecommonding tho payment of accounts amounting to £7l6s 4d was adopted, It w«b decided on tho motion of tho Chairman to instruct tho Clerk to ascertain whether Bannister and Graham accept any responsibility for completing contract No. 2, Dorset Road Extension, under tho assignment 'which Carr stated ho had mado to them.

It was decided to advise Mr Field that the Board was unable to contribute more than £1 10s towards the work asked for by him. A special rate was struck for tho £7OO loan for Dorset's road,

Tho Engineer, reported a slip on the new formation on Dorset's Extension road. Contract No. 1.

Tho action taken by the Engineer in repairing the Gladstone and Bluff roads was approved, Tho Engineer reported a Blip on Dorset's road, old formation, and recommended its repair,

Decided on the motion of Mr Stuckey that authority to cany out. recommendations be given to the Engineor. On the motion of Mr Harris, it was decided in f uturo to hold tho ordinary meetings of the Board at 11 a.m.

The Board then adjourned.
