Eketahuna Notes.
(From Our Own Correspondent),
Messrs Hawkins and Oudaillo, held a stock sale hero on Friday last. There was a fairly largo ontry of stock, several lines being quitted at satisfactory prices. The rest wero passed in as the reserves Wero too ,I'igli.
A football match was played on Saturday, in Anderson's paddock, between Eketahuua and Pahiatua, resulting in a drawn game. Tho Eketahuna band played several selections on the ground during the progress of the game.
Tho weather has broken again, Heavv rain commenced to fall about mulnighton Saturday, and continued tho wholoof Sunday with very cold wind,
