Two young men, Sage and Swanson, were fined £0 each and costs, for drivingthrcchorscs in acondition unfit to be worked, Tho caso had been remanded for the appearanceof their employer, but ho showed ho had no knowledge of the state of tho animals. The S.M. made ,some strong remarks and. said, if tho matter bad beon traced to any person really responsible for ill-usage of horses, he would have given him a good term of imprisonment..
