Wood held his usual fortnightly, stock sale at tho Tnratnhi yards yesterday and considering the smnlfncss qf tho entries' (qnly al)out 1100 shoopniul 40 head o{ cattlo), the attendance of buyers was exceptionally large, The bidding was spirited throughout tho sale, and prices showed'an upward tendency, being quoted ns under:—Sheep— Ewos in lamb, 5s 5d to 8s; Forward owes 7s to 8s 3d; medium fat ewes 8s fid; culled ewes 3s 2d; store ewes 5s to Cs; 2-tooth store wothers 8s fid; do forward and fat 10s Id, Cattle-Calves 23s 6d to 275; dairy cows 80s to £sl7s 6d; store cows and forward for beef £3 to £1 3s,
