Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association.

A meeting of the General Committee of the above Association was held in the Club Hotel on Saturday afternoon. There wore 14 members present, Mr A. W. Gave presiding. The resignation nf Mr 0. Ankotell mis handed in, and on tlio motion of MrSykos, seconded by Mr McGregor, was accepted. It was resolved on the motion of MrW, J. Welch, seconded by Mr Jolmsfon, to holtl the annual show this year, ns nearly as possible on tlio same date as last year.

On the motion of Mr Sykos, seconded by Mr McKay, it was resolved to add a Farmer's Class for sheep to to the catalogue, such class to meat ft non-breeder's.

The report of the Ground Committee was handed in, and it was resolved, on tho motion of Mr J. McGregor, seconded by MrD. Guild, to adopt tlio report, and to empower the same Committee to carry out what was further necessary, On the motion of Mi' W. J, Welch seconded by Mr D, Guild, a vote of thanks was passed to the Ground and Stone Picking Committees, Proposed by Mr McGregor and seconded by Mr Guild, that a vote of thanks be accorded to the Vice President (Mr Stuckey) and the Secretary (Mr for thcip services as' delegates at tho late Conference.—Carried. Mr Lowes returned thanks for himself and Mr Stuckey,

Mr W, Simnis was elected a member of the Association,

This being all the business the meeting adjourned.
