Hawkins and Oudaille's report:— Our sale, Tuesday, sth June, was characterised by largo entries of cattle, brisk bidding and sound prices. Young cattle of, all kinds found ready sale, while heifers 2yrs to 3yrs, and springers sold readily. Judging by the prices and ready demand, we should say that the time is not far distant when cattle will command full value. "Wo quote, weavers from 2Gs to 30; 18 months' to 2yrs steers, 55s to 00s; heifers, 3yrs, £3 10s to £i; forward store bullocks, £<f; store cows, £2 10s to £3; dairy cows, springing, £4los to £slos. Sheep—There were no entries for sheep, vendors being averse to mustering and travelling, owing to unsettled weather. Hacks found buyers at from £3 to £(i 17s (id; draught, no demand.
