Meeting of Parishioners, About fifty persons attended a ' meeting of Parishioners of St. Matthew's, Mastcrton, held in the Schoolroom last evening, to meet the Venerable Archdeacon Fimcoilrt, to discuss matters affecting the Church. The Secretary (Mr W. B. Chennoils), read the notice calling the meeting, after which Archdeacon Fancourt explained that the notice had been rather vague intentionally, as the meeting was intended to bo merely an infor.unl one to discuss the position of the (Jlmrch. The Venerable Archdeacon then I briefly reviewed the circumstances connected with the resignation of the Eev, W. E.
