I favour a scholarship in connection with the MasPublic School, and my support will be given to all efforts which the Trustees may properly make within their means for the advancement of Education at our State School. This I consider to be the primary object of the Trust. • A public hall I do not favour until the education of our children has been fully attended to. I look upon a public hall as being a secondary consideration, and one which should more properly he undertaken by private enterprise, I approve of the Trust affording assistance to bodies which provide rccreatidfl and healthy sports for the people, as I consider that physical training is absolutely essential if a healthy miud is required.—Yours truly, W.
