.FEATHERSTON-MONDAY. (BeforcMi'T. Hutchinson, S.M.)' T. Saunders was charged with neglecting to shut two gates, near the Railway Crossing at Pigeon Bush, and with using insulting language to certain railway servants, On the first charge accused was fined £1 and 18s costs, the : second charge being dismissed, W. Cundy v.E.J. Searl. Claim, £29 17s 2d for goods supplied, Mr Aeheson for plaintiff, Mr Pownall for defendant. Defendant put in a setoff of £26 12s for liquor supplied, After considerable cyidonce and argument judgment was given for plaintiff for the amount claimed, less £6 Gs 6cli
