Taincand Co., auctioneers, Wellington, report on the stock, wool and produce market for the week ending Afav loth; — Fat Siro;i': We have held no public sales, and private business has been restricted to Die sale of good meaty wethers, at lis 9d ; fat ewes, good weights, 9s to 9s Gil. We quote good heavy fat wethers, 12s to 12s (id; medium, lis to lis 3d; and a good demand for all, fat ewes, except guaranteed not in lamb, slower of sale, Store Sheep: All lines of good store fihecp coming forward are saleable at improved rates, We quote good forward wethers from 9s to 9s (id, and up to 10s has been paid for a really good lot well-woolled and very forward, Lambs which have been very unsaleable for some time, are now in fairly good demand, and saleable at bs to (is (ill, for good; 5s to os Gd for medium. No demand for culls, Ewes in lamb, young and in good condition are selling up to 9s; f.m. ewes, Gs to 7s, if good mouths and in good condition, with a demand for more. At these prices business can be done.

Fat Cattk: As winter advances the demand is increasing, and settlors are hardening their prices, Good beef is saleable at up to 18s Gd for best bullocks; cows at lower rates; store cattle are rather unsatisfactory just now, and very little business is being done, "sellers' prices being too extreme to do business. Properties : Good demand for country properties, and if sellers were disposed to mako concessions business could be done with both sheep and dairy farms.
