Eulogy on the Late Dr. Stuart.
A saint has gone to Ilia eternal rest, The Lord ot Glory thought it best To call the faithful warrior home Dnnedin's streets no more to roam. On oottage hearths his feet no more
ahal) rent, As they were wont North, South, East, and West, A weloorae guest was ha, a sturdy friend |To all, both great and amall; ateadtait to the end. No trust betrayed, no warning left | unsaid We allallow it now that he is dead.
Each grateful heart bears tribute to his
worth, And think 3 a better ne'er trod this earth, Bold and courageous, vigorous and strong In body, mind and soul, could not go
wrong, But climb the highest pinnacle of fame, And take to heaven an everlasting name, Uohn Webb.
