Alarm in India.
Supposed Signs of an Intended Mutiny, London, May 6, Tho Calcutta correspondent of the Spectator has sent an alarming article, predicting another Indian mutiny, He bases his opinion on the fact of the Natives smearing trees, and on other fanatical indications. Later. I , May 6. The Spectator's correspondent in India Bays the mysterious marking of mango trees in Behar and the North-west Provinces is puzzling the Government, and coincides with the secret distribution of unleavened cakes prior to the outbreak of tho Mutiny in May, 1857.
