Further Particulars (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent). Tenui, Tuesday. With regard to tbo accidental shooting of Mr James Stewart, it appears Stewart and his young bod, accompanied by a young man named Harry Leach went out in search of wild plga on Sunday. Stewart carried arifloand Leach a fowling-piece. After killing one pig, they started round in search of more. On meeting ogain they exchanged guns, Stewart giving the fowling-piece (both barrels loaded and cocked) to Leach. Stewart started ahead with his young son, leaving Leach to follow. They had not gone far when Leach states one of the barrels went off, he can't say how it was caused, the contents lodging in Stewart's th>gb and bitting bis boy on the arm tearing away part of his coat in passing, S«ewart,afler being Btruck, walked about 50 yards then sat down making light of the matter, The binding up of the wounds was done in a very loose manner, which allowed his life's blood to triokle I out no proper tying being made. His little son brought his mother to the dying father an hour after the ooicurrence, just as he breathed bis last, Leach stayed by him all through, but failed to stop the flow of blood, j An inquest will be held to-morrow.
