(From Our Own Correspondent!. Monday. The local Tent of Rechabites gave a social on Saturday night to members of friends and a capital nigLt ivas spent. The Rev. S..J. Gibson occu- j pied the cbair, An enjoyable pro ■. gramme of singing and music was 'carried out and a liberal supply of refreshments was banded round, O.E. Bro. A.. Aylos gave a brief address on tbe benefits of the Order.
The annual'distribution of prizes to the children of St. Mark's Sunday School took place yesterday alternoon, over 100 children and many friends being present. The following is a list of tbe chief prize winners;-First' 1 class: Annie Allen, Ella Armstrong, i Irvine Armstrong, Hilda Brown, Keith Armstrong, Irvine Armstrong, Roland Fairbrotber.
