Committee Meeting, (From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the W.R.C. Stewards was held at tho Umpire, Hotel on Saturd«vevening. Present: Moßsrs W. Bidwill (Ohairinnn), Hutton (Seotetary), Reynolds (Troasurer), A, MoKenzio, A. Donald, J. S. Cttndy, Butt, Nix, and Wilkinson, The minutes of the previous meeting were road and confirmed,
Tho Treasurer's statement showed a balance.iii hand of XIGO 5s 9d. Accounts to tho amount of LBS were passed for paymont,
It was resolved that, as the Club is not in a suflkwnt financial position topiweil with the new training track, that the Treasurer and Secretary open tho tenders and return them to the sunders.
It was also rosolvod to fino J, Luihi, Harris, and King five shillings each for infringing ■ tho mlos by walking their horses inside tho flags of the training track, aud further that thoy would not be allowed ou the course ill the fino was payed, and should ho offonoo bo repeated the fine will he much heavier.
It was decided that tho repairing of the present training track be loft in the birds of the dourao Committee.
Resolved tint at tho nwt meeting something bo done by way of rewarding Mr Elliott, the gate-keepei-, who through his meritorious conduct at the last inco meeting saved several biigi-ies ft om king smaslnd by a falling bough.
'lt was also resolvid that the Secict'iry write to the Secroiary of the R-iceciiurso TriuleoH, and arrange a meeting between the Trustees and a deputation from thin Club, It was pointed out that tho W.R 0, would liko to meot the Hunt Club as far as thoy could, and thoy did not wish any ill feeling io exist between the ciul'S, as it is as much fur tho benefit of the members of tho Hunt Club us for tliosii of the Rsciug Club that the course should be kept ill good repair.
