The colony'ajjltroturcs fur the 1891—tho figures being approximate—appear in the current number of tho Trade Review. The imports for the period totalled - £1,884,180 in value, as against £1,782,971 in the corresponding period of 1898, this differeaoo of £60,000 oddb ing almost accounted for by specie imported in March of this year. Taking tho returns fir the year ending March 31st last, the imports, exempting specie and parcels post, totalled £3,310,703 in the North Island and £3,160,181 in the South, or a grand total of £6,470,944. In 1892-98 the imports totalled' £6,575,035, in 1891-92 £6,602,677, -. and in 1890 91 £6.026,875. Tho extor's for the quarter just ended amountedio£3,9B4,ls7. and for tho y car en d' n 8 exports including speoie aud parcels |iost, were ■ 49,332,310, in 1892-98 £9,217,596, >n 1891-92 £9,744,416, aud in 189081 £9,804,658.
