CAPT. EDWIN.
An Anticyclone, (By Telegraph-Press Association.) Wellington, Wednesday. Captain Edwin reports that since the lSth inst, an anticyclone syalem of usual extent libb bepn passing over the country and the barometer readings generally have bepn higher than a t any time since January 21st. The cyclone centre indicated on the 18th and 16th has either so greatly diminished in intensity that it ig Ilo j longer of any consequence or has been deflected to a much more easterly touto than ia usual by an anti cyclone.
