A special meeting of tho -Mauricevilla Boad Board was held on Saturday the 14th inst. Present :- Messrs C. Forsherg, (chairman) 0. Tait, J. F. Heckler and J. Bannister. _ The minutes'of the previous, meet' ing were rear! and confirmed. -^ A number applications Jfl persons desiring their on tho roll were coDsidermHHj The following tenderJHHß ceived formetal!irnj%j|4HßH| -M. Kerins (accepted) chain, F, R. Jacobsen £2 per chain. For metalling on Smith's JRoad:— M. Serins (accepted) £2 10s' per chain.
In the the event of a' poll being taken at the approaching election, in addition to the polling booth at th's Road Board office, a polling booth ' will also be open at the Mangamaboe Railway Station for theconvenienceof ratepayers in that part of the districb
