Anderson, a lad of 17, was charged with using oh's'oono languago on the night of Friday, Ajml 12t,h, The ovidonco of G. ff. Keys and W. 0. Hawkins was taken to prove thn offenco, The acoused called J. iawrie and Q. Withers, o£;ed 17 and 15 respectively, as witnesses in his defence, Ho was convicted j but as Constable Smith explained to the Mapsti'ftte that ho would not push tho tho S.M. named the accused that ho would have to pay the costs, and if it occurs again he will ho called up for donlcncc and fiont to gaol, Pabe v.
