Sad Accident to a Jockey. (By Telegraph.—Preea Association). Auckland, Thursday. A sad accident happened at the Waipa races yesterday. An Auckland jookey named Henry Priest, twenty yenra of age, who was riding Folly in the Flying Stakes was pulling up the mure on the post, when she crossed her legs, and threw Priest on his heed, fracturing his skull. He expired threeJjours afterwards, A t the inquest it appeared death was the result of pure accident, and a verdiot was returned aooordingly.
