(Before Mr T. Hutohison, S.M.)
At the Magistrate's Court. to-day, Henry Adams was obarged before Mr Hutchison, 8.M., with having, supplied a drink to Mrs Clara E. Goodgame, a prohibited person. Accused admitted supplying the liquor, but stated that lie whs not aware that she was prohibited, Mr T, Tbompsoiij proprietor of the Empire Hotel, stated that '-. he hod told oil his servants at the time he got the notice of prohibition not to supply Mrs iGoodgame with any liquor, and she bad repeatedly to be driven from the hotel. The defenden twas in his employ when the order was issued, and; witness eonsidered that lie knenrof tbeorder. "■■■: over the time" it.
