Stephen Neary Wounds a Policeman

Wanoahdi, Wednesday. A rather serious stabbing case occurred last night, a man named Stephen Neary inflicting ,a wound on Sergeant Villara with a large knife. An attempt was being made, by Sergeant Villara and Constable MaoUe to arrest the man for causing' a disturbance, and while trying to take an axefromhim, lie drew bis knife, Viliars is now in the Hospital with a wotindin his stomach, and it is probable ..an operation will have to,be! performed, • v v. )
