HedStorTootballGlub. The Annual meeting of the Red t Stat Football Club was held in tho ■-' Empire on Wednesday evening. There were between 30 and 40 / members present, andUMr Wilsone / (Captain) occupied the oliair, ' ' The minutßß of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, Tho following new members were' eleated: —Messrs Skinuer, Hawke, Owen, Hoar, White, and D'Aroy. . The Captain complimented the Club on the excellent stand it made • last year. The matohes played by ■thefiret fifteen were seven; winning three, losing three, and drawing one. The second fifteen played ten matches, winning five, drawing four and losing one. Thefollowing officers wereeleoted:— Patron, Mr James Welch ; President, Mr Alex. It was resolved that the Secretary obtain the names of members willing to proceed on a tour to Nelson, on May the 2<ltb, and submit the Bame to a general meeting to be bel'd •oa Saturday week'. •■■■■•. It was decided to open the season' on the last Saturday of the present month, Mr W. Iggulden was unanimously eleoted'a life member of tho Olub. It was reHolved to bold a eocial on the Thursday following, Easter Monday, and a strong committee was, appointed to supervise arrangemej^i Votes of thanks were passedjajH Thompson for the loan of the roonW to the retiring officers.; and to MJ H. Wilsone for the able manner if I which he piloted the Stars to victory ilast seasou. The meeting then ad* journed.
