Seiious Damage. (By Telegraph,—Press Association). j Buns, Monday, Tho houses on the bridge road had a narrow escapo from destruction by a bush firo on Saturday. In the Sandon district bush fires wore also raging on Friday and Saturday, and the utmost difficulty was experienced in keeping tho flames from several farm houses and wool sheds, 'ike damage done to grass and fences is very great, and the loss to farmers will be heavy.
