MASTERTON TOWN LANDS TRUST.
Special Meeting. & special meeting of tbe Maptorton Town Linda Truatoca was held last night, tliero being present, Messrs W. Lowea (Chairman), 0. E, Duniell, T. P, Lett, E. Foist and A. W.. ilenall. The new voters list, 'containing 1382 names was placed before the meeting. The Clerk said this was more than double the number on last toll, which contained 680 namos. The' Chairman said there were no objections lodged.—The roll was then passed as presented. The Chairman said the other business was to receive the report of the Commit, teo appointed to deal with the Trust properties, the leases of which would expire on the 30th of Juno. The report was then road and adopted. The plans, in accordance with the report drawn up by Mr Eawson, was laid on the table. The Chairman said it was necessary to push on all business in connection with the salo ot the leases, in fairness to the present occupiers, so that in the event of their failing to seoure them again they might have an opportunity to look out for new premi«es. The meeting then wont into committee to fisreservo prices for the sections, etc.
