ATTEMPTED SUICIDE AT STRATFORD.
i! (By Telegraph-Press Association), New Plymouth, Monday. A man named Grey attempted to commit Buioideat Stratford on Saturday by swallowing a quantity of laudanum. Dr Hirston was promptly in attendance, but it took about six hours', treatment before Grey was pronounced out of danger. He was a partner in the firm of Bhand and Grey,commission agents, at Stratford. The cause of of the raeh act is not known. -
