The ami""! installation of W.M.' '■ and investiture of officers of Lodge ; Masterton, No. 19, N.Z.0., t*)k place last evening ia the nister-street. The' attewance was large, including many visitors, Bt. Mark's Lodge (Carterton), and the Elsetahuna Lodge being particularly well represented, Bro.'James AitkenV P.M., acted as Installing Master, and Bro. N. Grace, P.M<*, as Director of Ceremonies, After Bro. O, A, Pawnail, P.M., hid been 'placed in the V chair for his second term of office, the following officers were invested:— , Depute Master—-Bro, 'J. Aitken; S.W.-Bro. P, H. Ibbetson; J.W.-Bro. W. O. Cargill; Secra-tary-Bro. W. Sellar; TreasurerBro. A, E. Copping; Organist—Bro. A, von Keieenberg; Stewards-Bros, J, Abbott and J. Dixon; S.D.-Bro. J. Yates; J.D.-Bro, W. H, De Lislej I. G.-Bro. E, H, Eton, Tyler—Bro. E. S, Richards, At the conclusion of the usual ceremonies the Masonio. flail was cleared, and under the abla direction ot the caterer, Bro. James Wiokens, a most excellent spread w»a soon laid, to wbioh all present did full justice, after -which the following toasts were duly honored:—" The Queen and the Draft," proposed by the W.M., Bro. 0. A. Pownall; "The Grand Lodge/' proposed by Bro, Pownalland replied toby W. Bro. N.Grace; | "Bister Constitutions," propused by i W. Br>. Orace and replied to by Bro, Foidu ( /ioioria)j"Tho V7.M." pro--1 posed by Bro. Darby, P.M.;" Visiting Bre-hren," proposed by Bro, t James Aitken, and responded to by , Bros. Lindop and Forde; " The In- ' i stalling Master," proposed-by Bro. A. : E. Copping ; «' Retiring Oilicere," I proposed by Bro. F. H, Ibbetsou, aud • responded to by Bro, J.
