This wonderful piece of mechanism, which has attracted a great deil of attention wherever exhibited, has reached Masterton,and the proprietor, Mr 0. Jameson is now engaged, with a staff of workmen in fitting it up at the Theatre Koyal, which will be open ito the publio at 7 p.m, on ihursday next, aud afterwards for nine days i from 2 till 5 and 7 till 10; Thin , beautiful and gigantio model is j divided into four section? or parts, and is twelve feet in height, The lower part or base stands three feet.high, six feet long, by three-feet deep. The sphere in front is a terrestrial globe which revolves from west to east in a mean solar day; it shows the time under the meridian, and the exact i hour of the day and night over everypart the earth's surface. A foil description of tho model would take up too much space, am! would only then give our readers a fnnt impres* sion of this marvel, which everyone should see.
