■ Tho usual fortnightly slook sale waa j held yesterday, the yards being fairly ! well filled with both sheep and oattle. Xhe former was exceeding fiat, prices being {he lowest for many years, and and it was with great difficulty the ewes were cleared. Cattle sold well, prices being fully maintained. Mutton ewes sold at 7s 8d; store wethers, 4 tooth, 7s to 7s 6d; 2 tooth do, 6s' to 7s i culled ewes, 2s to 7s ithe bulk averaging only 4s; woolly to 58 Bd, ahorn do, 2s to 3s 8d; 2 tooth ewes, 6s to 7s 6d; fat bnlloofa, £1 j fat steers, 2} years old, £s lss; store steers, £4lss; 2 year do, £8 15s; eighteen months, mixed, a line of 00 in the pen, £2158; cows from 65s to U ; mixed yearlings and 18months, £2 lis; harness horses, from 15 10s to £8 ss; hacks from £5 to £8; brake and harness, £l6 ; , single buggy and harness, £2l; pigs, ■ weaners, 9s to 10s; slips, 20s to 255. : February 9tli, 1894.
