Recouery of the Bodies. (By Telegraph - Press Association.) Nelson, Tuesday The bodien of Captain Rogers and threa seamun indnrson, Oken and Tommy have been washed ashore, Tue bodies of the mate, Albert Viking, arid two seamen, known only as George and Andy, and the cook, whose name is unknown, have not yet been recovered. The Gazelle sighted land on Friday night. A heavy gale was blowing, and all the sails were blown out of the bolt ropes, except the flying jib. The exact position of the vessel was not koown, and every effort was made to keep her off the land, On Saturday morning land appeared all round, and the sea was very rough and • high. A little later the vessel struck against the high bluff, Quintel says he jumped overboard to escape the falling jpars. Davidson was unconscious when found on the beach by a settler named Wells, and the poor man was much bruised and knooked about. The bodies will bo brought to Nelson. None of the men are married, as far is it is known. The vessel must jave come through the Beef Barrel rooks, where, had she struok, not a ioul could hare been saved.
