SOUTH WAIRARAPA RIVER BOARD.

The statutory meeting of the above Board was held at Featberston last Saturday. The Seoretary repotted that Messrs Matthews, Hume, J. Bidwill, Pearca and Williams had been elected members. Mr Pearce proposed that Mr Matthews be Chairman for the ensuing year. Mr Williams seoonded,—parried. Tbo minutes of 'the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Accounts wero passed for payment to tbe amount of £7 4s.
This being all the business, the meeting adjourned,
