FEATHERSTON DISTRICT RIFLE CLUB.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Tbo second annual meeting of the übovo was held in the Public Hall at Kaiwaiwai last Saturday evening. i The report and balance sheet was ■ read and adopted, i The finances of the Club were found to be in a flourishing condition, The i or. balance was, at the end of Decemi bef last, £7 2b 6d, which is very sati ieftotory, considering that most of the ' members paid their subscriptions in ' advnnoo last year, and this was devoted to the building of the butts. Tho roll comprises 86. members, and these are only those whose subscriptions have been paid up to date. It was resolved to allow members i ammuni'ion at lOd per packet. A i ball was held during the season, for the purpose of sending a repreßeutati'ie of the Club to the Sydney Association meeting, which realised £9 12=. As no one was able to go, it was resolved to devoto the amount to the General Fund The officere of the club were elected, most of whom fvere re-elected. Other routine business was transacted, and the meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to tho chair.
