WEDDING AT ST. MATTHEW'S
A very pretty and interesting wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew'a Church, Masterton, at 11.30 this morning, when Miss. Lelty Jago, second daughter of Mr Thomas Jago, and Mr Edward H. Eton, eldest Bon of Mr H, E. Eton, we united by holy wedlock. The Church waa filled to overflowing long before the appointed licafcpd crowds of friends bad to be confenTwith the view of the wedding party as they emerged from the Church after the ceremony, The Bev. W. E. Paige, M.A., performed the marriage rites, and the service .'wbb a beautiful choral one. The large choir, of which the young couple were members, was present, and sang : hymns and chants with Gne effect. The bride, who wbb given away by -'her father, was attired in a pretty cremo silkorepon dress, trimmed with lace with orange blossom and veil, and carried a large bouquet of flowers, 'obtained from McNab's Gardens, '■■-■ Lower Hutt, The lady was attended .by four bridesmaids, the Misses :: Tottie, Amy, Oily, and Eileen Jago. ■.The' two chief bridesmaids wore .'dresses of pink cashmere, trimmed ; with'ftronze lace, with hate to match. '■■jßmn little girls looked a charm•'fog picture in crerae cashmere and ]ace,dreßßes, and creme drawn hats. Each young lady carried a bouquet. aed wore a gold brooch, the gift of the i bridegroom, The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr E. 6. Eton, who aoted aB best-man, As the party left the church, the •'Wedding March" was brilliantly I played by the organist, Mr W, Fori, and the happy, couple were deluged with rice by the crowd that lined the .walks, as they entered the carriage. A large number of guests were preB6DW the wedding breakfaßt, at the residepce p| the bride's patents, where j, hippy time was spent.
