BURGLARS AT EKETAHUNA AND ALFREDTON.

Early on Thursday morning Mr J. Anderson, of the fiketahuna Hotel, found that his bed-room had been I broken into and a cash-box containing 1120 had been abstracted. An entry wasfouud to have been made by the window, and the robbery appears to bo the work of someone acquainted with the premises. The empty cash box was found yesterday in a bush at the back of the hotel,
On Friday MrSinolairM, Georgo's Alfrcdton Hotel was entered and a large sum of money abstracted from the bar till, The burglar gained an entrance to the bar by prising open a window with a" jemmy," arijl was seen leaving the premises, but managed, to get clear away. Still another burglary is reported, tliia lime from the Pah yalley, between Eketahuna and Alfredtonl Some time between Thursday night and daybreak on Friday, the residence gf Jf r ' Beaton was broken into,' anjj i sum of'money secured by the intruder,
Everything points to the conclusion •{!*' the vobberiea are all the work of one individual, but eo far no clue'has been obtained as to bis identity.
