Civil, oasis, Wm, Whitt t Manibera Maika, Mr Pownall appeared far Mr Whitt, and judgment was given for plaintiff by default for - £4 8s for goods supplied, Shortly after judgment had been given defendant appeared, and said he had not heard the ease called on, and wished to defend it. He asked Mr Beard in Court to defend theoase, and by permission of His Worship the oase was allowed to be put on the defended list. Later, on the advioe of Mr Beard, defendant confessed, and judgment was en tared accordingly.
