PAHIATUA SPORTS.

Tho Ftibiatua Athletic Society's sports woro held on their new ground yeaierday, and were highly successful, The attendance was good, and the fields wore large, the events being keenly contested, rind some good times were made in tunning tho 100 yards (10 seconds), hair-mile (2inin lOseo) and mile (4min filseo). The day's sport was marred by an unfonunate accident. In the hunters' competition H. U. Knight, a clerk in Mr Tosswill's office, sustained serious internal injuries.
