A deputation of Hawera settlers waiied on the Board re state of their road,—Resolved that the Clerk apply for £IOO, being the 10 % due on Makakahi bridge road. . • The EDgineer'B.uionlnly report was read and adopted. It was reßolved to draw the County Council's attention to the bad state of the road through Newman, and that they be requested to put it in order as soon as possible. The meeting then adjourned.
