The Egmont Farmer's Union, We heve but very small sales to report this patt week, for what with the holidays and wet weather a j>nieral dullness prevailed. At Okaiawa on Thursday the 28th ult, a moderate number of cattle were yarded, but there were very few buyers prasent, so that scaroely anything sold. We held our opening salo of the Hew Year at Manaia on Wednesday, the Brd inst, but owing to wet weather the entry of cattle was small. Bid' ding was flat, and only a few lines changed hands, We quote, 2 year steers, £3 6s, cows and calves, £3 8s; mixed yearlings £llßs.
