Horsfall as a two-year-old. Tho thoroughbred ontire Randwiok, by Barbarian, dam Gipsy Girl, (for extended pedigree see Victorian Stud' Book) is onoof tho best that has over raced on New Zealand turf; colour, golden ohestnut; standing fifteen hands three inches high, of immense power and blood, pourtraying good temper, and traces descent from tho most aristocratic strains of raoing blood in tho colonies, Ms sire being fu'l brother to The Bpj-'o, the best horse of his day in New South Wales, by tho famed Sir Hercules oat of Young Qutoare. Itandwick is full brother to Gipsy Cooper, half brother to Zulu, winner ol the Melbourne Gup, half brother to The Barber, champion weight-for-age horse of Australia. In 1881 Bandwick was second on the list of winners, having won over £1,500 in stakes in one season. Among these maybe mentioned the Napier Gup of 500 BovS) and Wanganui Stakes of 250 sovs, beating Libeller, Natator, and a large Sold of the best cattle.
