Meeting of Council,
A meeting of the Oounoil of the St. Matthew's Boys' Club was held in Mr W. G. Beard's offic? last night, the Rev, ffl, E, Paige, President, presiding,
The Treasurer, Mr W. H. Jaoksou, reported that the amount .in hand totalled J844 Is. Other subscriptions have yet to come in, Mr W. Lowes moved, and Mr E. Holmwood seconded, that accounts amounting to £6 Is 7d bo paid.— Carried.
It to decided to ask the Borough Counoil to reduce the poice of gas to the Club.
A subcommittee consisting of the Fresideut, Treasurer and Secretary were instructed to prepare by. laws ( to be submitted to Mr Lowes for approval. It was decided lo appoint Mr M. J, Symes ouetodian at a salary of Gs per week,
No other businoss coming forward the meeting adjourned.
