MASTERTON BOYS' CLUB.
A meeting of the Masterton Boys' Club was he}d on Baiurday evening last, the chair being occupied by tbe Rev. W. E. Paige. f The minutes of the previous meeting were road and confirmed. Tbe report of the Finance Committee was received, showing subscriptions cdlleoted and promised to the amount of £22195. /
The President, in reply lo a question, stated that the Club was quite unsectariun, and open' to all the boys of Masterton.
Mr J. Benningion was appointed Librarian, and Messrs B. Bowser, A, C. Nicol, Fred Green, H. Walker, J. Owen, and E, Jackson, a committee to take charge of clubs and other appliances* i

' Mr Jackdon reported that ho had received an offer to turn the Indian clubs for nothing, as a donation, He had alao sent to M. de Mey for a list of the best apparatus for agymuasium. • -A. hearty vote of thanks wa3 passed to all; donors ;of apparatus, games and subscriptions. '
