At oar monthly Horse Fair held on Saturday the 36th inst, the entries worn rather limited; but' taken as a whole the qn-ility of tbe horses was very good, .especially'; iho. draughts, and all of them sold very well. Oilier classt-s of horses were iu moderates demand -md a large finm-er of'what were entered sold at tho hanmie'r or immediately niter the sul'e.i,'Wa quole-dmnglits, £\i 2s 'fid id' 41G 10s,;-droughts (unbroken) i£B 5s to £l6 10s, trap horse 3, £7 to m 10a; backs up to .£lO. There was a largo advertised 'entry of cattle and sheep for our Union sale on the 30th inst, nearly everyone of which came forward for sole. The attendance was large, bidding slack except for young stock most wore soldaji.the haramer ,Prices,.for fn cattle were a shade lower, but other classes were about, at previous rates, There was a better demand for sheep and what we had entered being of lair quality sold readily, We quota-Fat bullocks, £G 12s ;12 to 18 months cattle, £2 lis (id to £3 7s Gil; heifers and cows in calf £3l3s to £5.
