; Ordinary Meeting, A meeting of tbo above Board was held on Saturday kt. Present MessrsMaunsell (chairman) Langdon, Bolliss and Palziell, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Lettors were read from Cameron Brothers re repairs to Makirikiri road—From Mr Cameron re culveits required on Ilowo Eewe road.—From the County Clerk with vote of thanks from Counoil for ptomising assistance towards maintenance of county roads. —From the Tax Commissioner re subsidy paid into Bank.-From Treasury re same,— The Treasurer leported balance in Bank £2Bl 14a 4d.
Resolved.—That a grant of £2O bo made towards necessary repairs on Makirikiri roud. -That tbe timber for culveriß be ordered for Rowe Rewe rnad,— That the necessary repairs be undertaken on Manawu-Annedale losd.—That the overseerbe instructed t'>'»p4fon the state of the di£f-rent roads iu the district.—That willows be planted in the slip at Annie's creek on Tinui Valley road. Accounts amounting to ;£8 lGs 8d were passed. The next meeting will be held on Saturday, S'-ptembonhe 2od,at 2p.m
