MASTERTON ROAD BOARD.

Monthly fleeting. i The regular monthly meeting of ( the Masterton Koad Board was held ( Saturday last, Present:—Messrs j McKenzie (in the chair), Cameron, t Harris, and Holmes. t MINUTES, f The minutes of last nieoting were l read and confirmed, ; DEPUTATION, t Messrs G. H. Welch, Wrigloy and Bertelson waited on the Board wit,'i , reference to clearing slips on the Bluff | road. Messrs Harris and Cameron were appointed to interview Mr Eikinsand use their endeavours to persuade him to do something towards protecting the river bank above the Potairau Road. Tliu application of F. H. Hosking to have liia name placed on the rate roll in plaw of W. H. Hosking was granted. It was decided that the Bum of £75 per annum, formerly paid to tho Clerk be paid in future into the County funds, The report of the Finanoe Committee recommending accounts for payment amounting to £lB2 7s lid vas adopted.
