Messrs Abraham and Williams re-, port at their fortnightly stock sale at last Wednesday, Many entries were prevented from reaching the yards on account of tbe flooded state of all tbe rivers in the district, yot both cattlo and sheep wero fairly well represented and prices in ench class fully maintained. Dairy stock was the feature of tho sale, some choice lintßoffering, Heifers, springing from £6 to L 6; others more backward L3los to L4loa; dairy cows according to quality and nearness to profit Ld 10s to L 7; young heiferß L3to L 8 ss; 2to 1\ year old steers LI 10s, 18 months 645, yearlings 50s to &3s Cd ; ewes and lambs lis 9d, store wethers lis Bd. A lino of fat ewes were passed,'
