Lord Mendeville has tbe credit of getting some fast racers, amongst otbera Mr Macara's Frolic, whose time has never been beaten on a New Zealand course. With his breeding this horse should command a good season. NIL DESPEHANDUSI the property of Mr John Hessey, is a fine powerful horse from tho wellknown stock bred by Mr Matthew Holmes, and who is acknowledged to have one of the best Clydesdale studs in Now Zealand. Nil Dosperandum has all the qualities to attract the notice of farmers who want to improve their stock and Mr Hessey should have no difficulty in obtaining a full list.
