THE BUSH RIVERS.
The Mangatainok Bridge in Banger, (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) Pahiatw, Baturday, The rivers are all up round Pabiatua, especially tlio Mangatainoka, which has become a regular torrent, The force of the water is washing tons of earth away, Last night the ground round the bridge was entirely swept away, leaving the piles and' stavesol the bridge bare. Had it not been for MrFraser ordering a wiro rope to be put round the piles, and lashed to the second staves, the bridge would have been washed away, As it is now it is very unsafe for passengers. The bridge might collapse any minute. The road to the ford is completely wreoked.there being no room for carts to pass along;
