MEETING OF CREDITORS.

Estate 'of Panne Pahora, ; A meeting of creditors in the estate • of Paraone Mora was held yesterday ; afternoon at the Courthouse, Masterton. Preßent-Mr Menteath(represent* iugMrE.G. Jelliooe coe, and Messrs Richmond andRichmond), Mr 0. W. Tanner (representing Colonel McDonnell), and Mr J.W..Middleton. Proofs of debt were lodged by John Fabian, £lB 17s; M. K. Jelliooe ffl 10s; E.G. Jelliooe,£Bl9s lid; J. W. Middleton; £143 1b 8d ■;. RiohL. raond and Richmond,ji2B? 8s 7d; Thomas MoDonnell, Jfwl&id; 0. W. Tanner, £1 lis 6d. . Mr W. G. Beard appeared for the debtor, who was not present. Mr W. B. Ohenoells, D.0.A., presided and stated that upon the notioe of adjudication being received, he sent the debtor the usual notice of meeting and requested that a statement of assets and liabilities be forwarded. On the suggestion ot Mr Tanner it was arranged to adjourn the moeting until the 80th inst,,the Official Assignee in the meantime to take what action he could to realise on any property known to belong to Pahora. .. Mr Beard explained that he had written to tbo debtor at his last known address, advising him to bo present at the meeting. He eould not account for his absence except that Pahqra must have left his last known place of residence, The D.O.A, said he would endeavor to find out the debtor's whereabouts arid serve him with a summons to attend. • • The meeting then adjourned.
