Permission was given, to Mr Beel to put down metal at his own expenseon the footpath opposite bis cottage on Waito street.
It was resolved, on tho motion of Mr Reynolds that necessary, legal advice ro the loan for the public hall bet paid for out of the Board funds.
It'y« resolved on the- motion of Mr Reynolds, that a meeting of the Board be held on Tuesday, the 15th insl., to consider tho legal advice and to decide what course to pursue in. raising the loan.
The Chairman explained that the expense of raising a loan such as proposed, even if all went well, rould cost at the least £BO.
Notice was given to the Registrar of Dogs to sutf all.ownere r of unregistered dogs, ■
